Q+A

When Should I RSVP?

Please have your RSVP in the mail or fill out our Google Form by October 1st.

What should I wear?

Think "Sunday Casual", a step above your afternoon BBQ and below your Sunday Best.

Gentlemen may wear jeans or dress pants with a sports coat or a nice collared shirt. Ladies may wear a dress or jeans and a blouse.

Can I bring a date?

Your invitation will ask you for the total number of people in your party. This is where you may tell us who you will be bringing. Please refrain from bringing any unspecified persons.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, absolutely. This is a family-friendly atmosphere where we are celebrating two families becoming one. There will be outdoor games provided to keep children occupied.

Is there parking on site for the celebration? Is it ADA accessible?

Yes, there is parking available on site. The parking lot is within walking distance of the event space.

Yes, the Old Mill Wedding and Event Center is ADA accessible. There are very few steps anywhere on the site and the entrance has a covered drive-through for easy drop-offs and pick-ups.

Is there transportation to and from hotels to the celebration?

No, there will not be any shuttle service available. We encourage you to have as much fun as possible but also be responsible. We discourage any drinking and driving when you are leaving the celebration. We encourage everyone to use a ride-sharing service, such as Uber, to and from your home or hotel. The hotels, located on the travel tab, are a short 5-10 minute drive from the site of the celebration.

Will the celebration be indoors or outdoors?

Both! If the weather allows us to be outside, we will have games set up for kids to play with and tables for the parents to sit and watch them. November in New Braunfels will be cooler than the summers are no doubt but, we don't know if there will be rain forecasted, so please plan accordingly.

Will there be an open bar?

Duh, is water wet? Then I need a drink!
